The company announced Shlemon’s departure in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The filing did not indicate Shlemon’s plans.

Known for its casual Italian wood-fired grill menu, Carrabba’s is the sister brand to Bloomin’ Brands’ core Outback Steakhouse concept, along with Bonefish Grill, Roy’s and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar.

At the end of the third quarter ended Sept. 30, Carrabba’s had 238 locations, nearly all company-owned. It recorded flat same-store sales during the quarter.

The chain is undergoing a brand refresh, with 37 locations remodeled as of the end of the third quarter, and is slowly rolling out the addition of a weekday lunch.
