Legal Sea Foods to feature Cooke Aquaculture salmon. Also this week: National Pork Board, Schafer|Condon|Carter, Solo Cup Co., Vulcan, Wolf, Berkel, General Mills, Surlean Foods, National Turkey Federation, Nyman Group Ltd.

BOSTON -- Legal Sea Foods, the seafood restaurant specialist based here, is featuring Seafood Trust certified Eco Label salmon from Cooke Aquaculture Inc. and its sales and marketing division, True North Salmon, under the Heritage Salmon name. Legal Sea Foods said True North's eco-certified salmon is the only farmed seafood in North America to win the Seafood Trust certified label.

DES MOINES, IOWA -- The National Pork Board has chosen Schafer|Condon|Carter as its new agency of record. SCC will create an integrated consumer marketing program for the board that includes strategic brand development and traditional and nontraditional advertising. SCC is teaming up with Spark Communication for traditional media while overseeing digital media in-house.

LAKE FOREST, ILL. -- Solo Cup Co., which supplies single-use products for food and beverages, named Kim Frankovich vice president of sustainability. In her new role, Frankovich will oversee the areas that address sustainability in operations and products, provide customer support and build community relations with sustainably focused groups. She joined Solo in 2005 as assistant general counsel.

GLENVIEW, ILL. -- Vulcan, Wolf and Berkel, kitchen equipment suppliers that are part of the Vulcan Food Equipment Group, have debuted new websites. The websites -- www.vulcanequipment.com, www.wolfequipment.com, and www.berkelequipment.com -- enable visitors to find detailed product information, access online resources and searchable databases, and locate dealers, service or sales representatives. Vulcan Food Equipment Group is a division of ITW Food Equipment Group.

MINNEAPOLIS -- Corporate Responsibility magazine named General Mills as one of its "100 Best Corporate Citizens." General Mills ranked third in the magazine's 11th annual ranking. In addition, the company was recently named one of the top 20 Best Companies for Leadership by Bloomberg Businesseek.com and was ranked 90th by Fortune magazine among the 100 Best Companies to work for.

SAN ANTONIO -- Surlean Foods appointed Cynthia Rodriguez corporate R&D chef. Most recently, Rodriguez was a teaching assistant at the Culinary Institute of America in San Antonio. In her new role, she will work with chains to develop menu solutions. In addition, Surlean Foods' processing facility was named a recipient of a 2009 Audit Platinum Award from Silliker Inc. The award is presented to companies that receive the highest scores in Silliker's GMP/Food Safety System and Distribution Center audits.

WASHINGTON -- The National Turkey Federation said it has promoted two staffers. The NTF named Adrienne Richards pubic relations manager and Anne Willis legislative manager. Richards most recently served as public relations specialist, while Willis was legislative coordinator.

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. -- The Nyman Group Ltd., a hospitality consulting group based here, has named Craig A. Nyman director of public relations and marketing. Previously, Nyman was with Las Vegas public relations firm Kirvin Doak Communications. While there he oversaw PR operations for a number of clients, including Pure Management Group.
