Manitowoc taps Hund as foodservice president

The Manitowoc Company Inc., named Robert M. Hund president of the firm’s foodservice division. Hund, who assumed the post Aug. 1, reports to Glen Tellock, chairman and chief executive of the company.

Hund previously held the position of executive vice president of Manitowoc’s Crane Care division, where he was responsible for a global network of service and distribution centers for Manitowoc’s eight Crane product lines in 19 countries. Before that, he served as vice president, Worldwide Marketing and Product Management of Manitowoc Cranes, where he managed a global staff responsible for new product development, marketing communications and operational marketing functions.

Before joining Manitowoc, Hund served in various executive positions in the United States, Europe and Asia for Caterpillar Inc.
