Jimmy John's

Rapid franchise expansion has grown Jimmy John’s into a company that broke the $1 billion systemwide sales threshold in 2011. The company has differentiated itself from sandwich competitors by offering “freaky fast” delivery, and founder and chief executive Jimmy John Liautaud has said that the chain’s consumer appeal from its beginning in 1983 has resulted from the concept’s unwavering focus on cold subs and relatively unchanging menu.
