Outback Steakhouse is one of the largest casual-dining chains in the restaurant industry, boasting 775 U.S. locations and more than $2 billion in U.S. systemwide sales. It is owned by Tampa, Fla.-based Bloomin’ Brands Inc., a publicly traded restaurant company (Ticker: BLMN) that also owns Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, Roy’s Restaurant and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar.
