Patrick DroeschTwin Peaks said Monday that it has appointed industry operations veteran Patrick Droesch to its president and chief operating officer roles.

Droesch succeeds Rick Akam in the COO role at the Addison, Texas-based casual-dining concept, a division of Front Burner Restaurants, and assumes the president title from Randy DeWitt, who remains chief executive.

Droesch most recently served as president and COO at Lone Star Management Co., which owns the Texas Land & Cattle Steak House, Lone Star Steakhouse and Firefly Kitchen & Bar brands. Previously, Droesch held operational vice president roles at On The Border and Chili’s Grill and Bar.

“Patrick is the perfect fit to spearhead our operational development as we prepare to reach 50 stores by the end of the year,” DeWitt said in a statement.

“I am very excited to join the Twin Peaks team and for the opportunity to be a part of the company during such a dynamic time,” Droesch said.

Twin Peaks is known for its all-female wait staff and attention to bar offerings, such as its temperature-controlled beer.

Twin Peaks has 32 restaurants in 15 states.
