NRA names Hennessy honorees

CHICAGO —U.S. Air Force and Marine Corps foodservice workers and facilities were recognized May 16 during the annual National Restaurant Association-sponsored joint services breakfast program honoring winners of the Marine Corps Maj. Gen. W.P.T. Hill Awards and the U.S. Air Force’s John L. Hennessy Awards.

The awards ceremony was held at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers. The keynote speaker was U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Richard Y. Newton III, deputy chief of staff for manpower and personnel, but the focus of the event was the winners, including: —U.S. Air Force and Marine Corps foodservice workers and facilities were recognized May 16 during the annual National Restaurant Association-sponsored joint services breakfast program honoring winners of the Marine Corps Maj. 2009 Hennessy Awards —U.S. Air Force and Marine Corps foodservice workers and facilities were recognized May 16 during the annual National Restaurant Association-sponsored joint services breakfast program honoring winners of the Marine Corps Maj. Gen. W.P.T. Hill Awards and the U.S. Air Force’s John L. Hennessy Awards.

Hennessy multiple-unit base: Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, Air Force Materiel Command —U.S. Air Force and Marine Corps foodservice workers and facilities were recognized May 16 during the annual National Restaurant Association-sponsored joint services breakfast program honoring winners of the Marine Corps Maj. Gen. W.P.T. Hill Awards and the U.S. Air Force’s John L. Hennessy Awards.

Hennessy single-unit base: Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, Air Force Materiel Command —U.S. Air Force and Marine Corps foodservice workers and facilities were recognized May 16 during the annual National Restaurant Association-sponsored joint services breakfast program honoring winners of the Marine Corps Maj. Gen. W.P.T. Hill Awards and the U.S. Air Force’s John L. Hennessy Awards.

Gen. W.P.T. Hill Awards and the U.S. Air Force’s John L. Hennessy Awards.

Air Force Reserve unit: 919th Services Flight, Duke Field, Florida —U.S. Air Force and Marine Corps foodservice workers and facilities were recognized May 16 during the annual National Restaurant Association-sponsored joint services breakfast program honoring winners of the Marine Corps Maj. Gen. W.P.T. Hill Awards and the U.S. Air Force’s John L. Hennessy Awards.

U.S. Air Forces in Europe foodservice small-site award: 701 Munitions Support Squadron, Kleine Brogel, Belgium —U.S. Air Force and Marine Corps foodservice workers and facilities were recognized May 16 during the annual National Restaurant Association-sponsored joint services breakfast program honoring winners of the Marine Corps Maj. Gen. W.P.T. Hill Awards and the U.S. Air Force’s John L. Hennessy Awards.

Smith, Headquarters & Service Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, Marietta, Ga. —U.S. Air Force and Marine Corps foodservice workers and facilities were recognized May 16 during the annual National Restaurant Association-sponsored joint services breakfast program honoring winners of the Marine Corps Maj. Gen. W.P.T. Hill Awards and the U.S. Air Force’s John L. Hennessy Awards.

The Hennessy Trophy Awards Program was created by the Hoover Commission, set up by President Dwight D.
