GRAPEVINE Texas More than 1,600 foodservice professionals gathered here March 15-18 as the Women’s Foodservice Forum celebrated its 20th anniversary at its annual leadership conference.

Linda Pharr, the WFF's retiring chair and interim president, handed over reins of the 3,700-member group to Mary O'Broin, vice president of marketing in the Americas for Unilever Foodsolutions.
Edna Morris, one of 14 founding WFF members, presented a commemorative book, "Women at the Table," celebrating the mission of the WFF to attendees.
"We're grateful to the industry's visionary leaders and emerging leaders for recognizing now more than ever the importance of this conference, and either attending or approving the attendance of their staff," Pharr said. "Through individual member support and the generous, unwavering support from our sponsors, we are as energized as ever in our mission of elevating women leaders."
Keynote speakers included: Robin Roberts, co-anchor, ABC News' "Good Morning America" program; Julia Stewart, chief executive and chair of DineEquity Inc.; and Tim Sanders, former leadership coach at Yahoo!
Three WFF members were honored for their significant impact on the foodservice industry. Dr. Rohini Anand, senior vice president and global diversity officer for Sodexho, was honored with the Trailblazer Award. Loria Danage-Scott, a vice president at Aramark, was given the WFF Leadership Award. Barbara Kane, assistant vice president at Ecolab Inc., was named WFF Volunteer of the Year.
