ATLANTA Shane's Rib Shack will give away a free rack of baby-back ribs to the first 100 customers at each of its more than 80 units on May 17 to kick off its "100 Days of Backyard BBQ" promotion.
The chain, a subsidiary of Atlanta-based multiconcept operator Raving Brands Inc., said each of those patrons also would receive a free large Coca-Cola Zero and a "Shaniac" t-shirt. Customers who aren't among the first 100 will each get a “Treat Your Friend to Shane’s” coupon with a buy-one-get-one-free offer.
From May 18 to Aug. 15, the barbecue chain will feature a weekly sweepstake in which patrons can win such prizes as a backyard barbecue for 10 or a free dinner for two. An online sweepstakes at Shane's website, www.shanesribshack.com, features more prizes, including a year's supply of Coke Zero and NASCAR tickets.
Raving Brands' other restaurant concepts include Doc Green's Gourmet Salads, Planet Smoothie, Boneheads and the Flying Biscuit Cafe.
