Sodexho to Team Up with TV’s ‘Too Hot Tamales’

GAITHERSBURG MD. Sodexho USA has teamed with chef-restaurateurs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken of “Too Hot Tamales” television fame to feature selections from their Border Grill restaurants in Santa Monica, Calif., and Las Vegas at corporate-dining accounts. —

Feniger and Milliken agreed to work with Sodexho’s chefs on menu development efforts and to make personal appearances at some of the contractor’s accounts in Southern California, where the Border Grill items are scheduled to debut this summer at 20 business and industry accounts. —

The duo’s entrées, salads, grilled fare, quesadillas and burritos would be featured, and the chefs’ signature salsa and hummus would be served in catering applications. —

Sodexho USA operates 250 accounts throughout Southern California, including 90 corporate-dining locations. —

In other company news, Sodexho said it has promoted Husein Kitabwalla to senior vice president of its Retail Brand Group, with responsibility for more than 500 locations of the division’s proprietary fast-casual brands. —

Kitabwalla previously was vice president of operations and brand development for the group, which is extending its portfolio of concepts through new ventures with basketball-star-turned-hospitality-entrepreneur Magic Johnson. —
