BOSTON UFood Restaurant Group, parent of the 12-unit UFood Grill chain, said Monday it has named John Grubb vice president of business development.
In his new post, Grubb will focus on expanding the health-focused, fast-casual brand in nontraditional venues, such as airports, colleges and hospitals.
Before joining UFood, Grubb served as director of special development for McDonald’s Corp. and director of development for the Au Bon Pain bakery-cafe chain.
UFood Restaurant Group, based in Boston, said it is planning to franchise the concept nationwide.
