Tamarind is a pod-like fruit with an edible pulp that's used in sweet and savory dishes and sauces and is also used to flavor beverages like cocktails and craft sodas.

Tamarind is in the Inception stage. It’s considered a premium ingredient that can be found on mostly fine-dining menus and at independent restaurants.
