MINNEAPOLIS Buca Inc. based here, parent of the 92-unit Buca di Beppo Italian dinnerhouse chain, will manage inventory using Eatec Corp.'s Web-based, EatecNetX enterprise software, the technology vendor said.
Officials of Emeryville, Calif.-based Eatec said Buca Inc. will use EatecNetX for everything from purchasing and supply chain management to production planning and inventory control. They said the software can create a wide range of reports and has analytical capabilities touching on things such as theoretical and actual food costs, vendor pricing compliance and menu mix.
