CENTER HARBOR & MANCHESTER N.H. Independent fine-dining venues Coe House in Center Harbor and Cotton in Manchester here are using LionWise's Restaurant POS System for point-of-sale.
"As the manager, I appreciate how easily I can program the system and input changes at any terminal. Any change takes effect immediately, so I am confident the staff is getting up-to-the-minute information," said Ken Lopes, who manages historical Coe House on Lake Winnepesaukee for owners John Richard and Luke Dupuis.
Hampton, N.H.-based LionWise, a growing regional technology provider whose management team includes former restaurateurs, said its RPS technology is adaptable to meet each client's business model, desired user presentation and back-office reporting and management requirements.
"The team at LionWise customized the system for Cotton," said chef-owner Jeff Paige, who owns Cotton in Manchester's historic Millyard District in partnership with his wife, Peaches. Paige said a LionWise function to "clone" and modify menu items makes short work of inputting daily menu specials, and the restaurant's assistant manager, Lynn Curry, said the new POS system enables her to "print reports in seconds" and "close out in half the time," compared with using the restaurant's prior POS brand.
