DALLAS Nation’s Restaurant News will kick off its 50th annual Multi-Unit Foodservice Operators, or MUFSO, conference this Sunday in Dallas, bringing together hundreds of foodservice executives to celebrate the industry's rich history and look toward an even richer future.
Titled “The Next 50…Are You Ready?” the conference will offer seminars on such timely topics as how to maximize profit, develop marketing strategies that build customer traffic and best practices to keep employees engaged. Keynote speaker William C. Taylor of Fast Company will discuss the best and brightest in business and keynoter Nassim Nicholas Taleb, author of “The Black Swan,” will speak on what can be learned from improbable historical and economic events. Highly regarded restaurant executives from Brinker, Darden and Domino’s also will share their thoughts on leadership, best practices and the industry’s future prospects during a conversation with NRN editor Ellen Koteff.
Throughout the conference, attendees also will have numerous opportunities to network, including during the Golden Anniversary Celebration, where the 2009 Golden Chain winners will be feted and industry icon Norman Brinker will be remembered.
