Parenting amid a pandemic has not been easy. With virtual classes over and coronavirus cases rising in parts of the country, summer looks even bleaker for exhausted parents of young children.
Shake Shack is hoping to come to the rescue by hosting an interactive summer camp called Shack Camp. Starting this week, the New York City-based chain is selling a $79 Shack Camp Box that contains activities needed for the company’s weekly virtual camp.
The kit includes six weeks’ worth of supplies to build a lemonade stand and make sundaes. It also contains scary stories and crafts. Each box comes with $75 worth of promotions valid for items such as burgers that can be redeemed on Shake Shack's app or website.
“It’s no secret that summer feels different this year, but Shake Shack is still here to bring the fun and keep you and your families entertained throughout,” the company said.
The boxes are available for purchase online at: camp.shakeshack.com. Weekly camp sessions will occur every Monday from July 13 to Aug. 17. Sessions can be viewed on the brand's IGTV channel: @shakeshack.
