Chimichurri is most commonly served with grilled meats, but is versatile enough to also make a popular condiment for burgers, wraps and sandwiches.

Chimichurri is in the Adoption stage. It’s gaining traction on menus but is still considered unique. It can be found at independent casual-dining and progressive fast-casual restaurants.

Granite City Food and Brewery, a restaurant chain based in Bloomington, Minn., with over 30 units, serves a Chimichurri Queso Burger featuring a patty of short rib, brisket and ground chuck with chimichurri sauce, Sriracha queso, avocado and pico de gallo.
