Lavash is a thin, unleavened flatbread made with flour, water and salt. It’s thought to have originated in Armenia, where it is a staple in the country's cuisine. Lavash is traditionally cooked in a clay oven and may be topped with sesame or poppy seeds.
Lavash is in the Inception stage. It’s considered a premium item that can be found mostly at independent restaurants.
