Skhug is a hot sauce — made with chiles mixed with garlic, coriander, cumin and other spices and herbs — native to the Middle East. The condiment traditionally accompanies falafel, shawarma, or grilled meats and vegetables.
Skhug is in the Inception stage – it’s considered a premium ingredient that can be found on mostly fine dining menus and at ethnic independents.
