Chick-fil-A wants to grow internationally, but it won’t be easy. Less than a half a percent of the chain’s restaurants were outside the U.S. at the end of 2023, according to Technomic data. That was less than all but one Top 20 restaurant chain–only Sonic, with zero, had fewer.

Taco Bell wants to help consumers with their budgets. With the new ‘name your price’ tool on its app, customers can set a subtotal dollar amount from $5 to $25 (excluding taxes, fees, tips, and extras) that they want to spend. The tool then randomizes menu items within that dollar amount so consumers can understand all the options within their budget

Maggiano’s new president wants to “democratize luxury.” Dominique Bertolone was named president last December of Maggiano’s, the upscale Italian sibling to Dallas-based Chili’s Grill & Bar, and introduced a new theatrical cocktail program in May and a sommelier.
