LAGUNA HILLS Melt Inc., operator and franchisor here of the Melt Gelato & Crepe Café fast-casual chain, has branched into the Midwest with the opening of a franchised unit in St. Louis, Mo. The 3-year-old brand now consists of 16 stores in four states.
