ST. LOUIS Hardee’s today launched Natural Cut French Fries as a complement to its premium Angus beef Thickburgers.
The thicker, skin-on Natural Cut Fries will be sold in small, medium and large sizes for suggested prices of $1.29, $1.49 and $1.69, respectively. As previously announced, the fries and all other fried products on Hardee’s menu will be cooked in trans-fat-free, 100-percent canola oil beginning in January.
Supporting the launch of the Natural Cut Fries will be a “Free Fry Day” promotion on Aug. 24, during which guests will receive a free small order of the new fries.
The new fries replace Hardee’s regular fries, though the chain will continue to offer curly fries.
The 1,905-unit Hardee’s, based here, is a division of Carpinteria, Calif.-based CKE Restaurants Inc. CKE also operates or franchises 1,101 Carl’s Jr. restaurants.
