Wendy’s is adding the Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger to its permanent menu, the chain revealed Monday on Twitter.
The burger chain first introduced the item last July to wild acclaim and won the Nation’s Restaurant News 2014 MenuMasters award for best limited-time offer.
Wendy’s kept the item on the menu well past its LTO period, finally removing it last November.
The sandwich, which was reintroduced last month, is a Wendy’s hamburger patty with honey mustard, a slice of Cheddar cheese, Cheddar cheese sauce, nine-leaf spring mix and red onion on a pretzel bun.
You said “bring it back.” So we did. Then you said “keep it on the menu.” So we…well, just watch. https://t.co/FNsVr17l8a

Wendy’s also brought back its Pretzel Pub Chicken sandwich, made with tomato, spring mix Muenster cheese, Cheddar cheese sauce and honey mustard.
While the burger will stay on the menu permanently, the chicken sandwich will not, although customers will be able to request the pretzel bun on their chicken sandwiches “for a small additional charge,” a Wendy’s spokeswoman said.
