Restaurants draw a challenge from Airbnb (Bloomberg Businessweek)
Having persuaded millions of travelers to forgo hotels to stay in people’s homes, Airbnb is looking to see if they’ll ditch restaurants, too. The hospitality site is running a pilot program in San Francisco for people to host home-cooked meals served in their homes; Airbnb takes a fee. Similar services include Eatwith, Feastly and Cookening. Airbnb, founded in 2008, has disrupted traditional hotel bookings worldwide.

Krystal launches Stackers with 10-city tour (Press release)
Krystal will launch its newest menu item, the Stacker, with twice the beef of its signature burger, by kicking off a 10-city tour in the Krystal Crave Cruiser, a big rig that will visit 10 cities throughout the Southeast to give away 10,000 burgers. Krystal plans to travel more than 2,000 miles between its headquarters of Atlanta and Orlando, Fla., to sample the double-meat burgers. The social-media-savvy brand also aims to capture content from the tour for its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram platforms under promotional hashtags #LetsKrystal and #StackerTour.
