Item: Croissant Donut, a flaky croissant ring glazed like a doughnut, introduced as a limited-time offer in November, is now a permanent item. The chain has sold 8.5 million of the pastries since they launched. Dunkin’ Donuts is planning new flavors, starting with a Boston Kreme Croissant Donut with chocolate icing, to be introduced in March, at a suggested $2.49.
