2017 NRN Top 200 Datafiles
The NRN Top 200 Datafiles is a completely interactive electronic database that combines the Top 100 and Second 100 reports, both gold standards for evaluating and rating the U.S. performance of foodservice chains across a variety of industry segments. The report is enhanced with performance metrics, phone numbers and website links, and provides a detailed, brand-by-brand assessment and three-year performance comparison of individual organizations. Included in the 2017 NRN Top 200 Datafiles is a bonus spreadsheet of the self-reported average unit volumes of 86 restaurant chains in the Top 200.

With its strict methodology, the Top 200 ranking, now in its 44th year, has long been an industry standard for foodservice business measurement. The backbone of these reports is NRN’s data expert Alan J. Liddle, who has been compiling and managing the database and providing analysis for 25 years. These reports benefit from his deep industry knowledge accumulated over his 33-year tenure at Nation’s Restaurant News.
