The coffeehouse chain released its Pumpkin Spice Draft Latte on Aug. 20. The beverage is made with cold-pressed espresso, fresh milk, pumpkin purée and a spice blend. The seasonal drink is available online, in its cafes and at select retailers nationwide. La Colombe is based in Philadelphia and operates 30 cafes.
The quick-service operator started rolling out fall flavors early this year, on August 27, bringing back menu items like pumpkin-flavored coffee, the Pumpkin Donut and the Pumpkin Muffin. Dunkin’ Donuts also reintroduced its pumpkin-flavored K-Cup pods and packaged coffee. Those two products are available at restaurants, in retail locations and online.
In addition to its in-store offerings, the quick-service brand recently launched a new ready-to-drink coffee beverage: Pumpkin Spice Iced Coffee. The bottled beverage, which became available for a limited time starting Sept. 10, can be found at grocery, drug and convenience stores as well as mass merchandisers nationwide. Dunkin’ is based in Canton, Mass., with over 12,600 stores across 46 countries.
The family-dining brand expanded its menu on August 27 with several new items, including a Pumpkin Pie Latte with whipped cream, cinnamon and other spices. Cracker Barrel is based in Lebanon, Tenn., and has over 650 restaurants.
Starbucks also started its pumpkin spice celebration earlier this year with the return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte on August 28. The beverage remains the quick-service operator’s most popular seasonal beverage since its debut in 2003. Starbucks also released two products in grocery stores for fans of the fall flavor — Pumpkin Spice Cookie Straws and Pumpkin Spice Flavored Ground Coffee K-Cup Pods. The new retail items join the chain’s existing lineup of pumpkin spice products, such as the bottled Pumpkin Spice Latte. Seattle-based Starbucks has more than 25,000 units worldwide.
Starting Sept. 3, the quick-service operator brought back its Pumpkin Pie Blizzard for a limited time. The treat is a blend of vanilla soft serve and pumpkin pie pieces with whipped topping and nutmeg. Dairy Queen is based in Minneapolis with more than 6,800 units in the U.S., Canada and over 25 other countries.
The quick-service chain reintroduced its Pumpkin Spice Pretzel Nuggets on Sept. 3. Customers can opt to pair the seasonal special with sweet glaze or cream cheese dips for an additional cost. The limited-time offer is available until Oct. 8. Auntie Anne’s is based in Lancaster, Pa., and has more than 1,800 stores in the U.S. and over 25 other countries.
The casual-dining operator’s new pumpkin menu items are: Pumpkin Spice Latte; Pumpkin Harvest Grande Griddlecakes, topped with warm cinnamon apples and served with two eggs any style and a choice of breakfast meat; Pumpkin Crème Muffin, a pumpkin spice muffin with a whipped cream cheese filling; and Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake. These items are available through Nov. 11, or until supplies last. Dallas-based Mimi’s has more than 80 restaurants.
Now through Oct. 23, the casual-dining restaurant is serving the Ooey Gooey Pumpkin Spice Butter Cake, topped with spiced pecans, vanilla whipped cream and a drizzle of bourbon-spiked salted caramel sauce. Firebirds is based in Charlotte, N.C., and has more than 40 units.
One of the new seasonal specials the fast-casual chain introduced in August is a healthy twist on the popular fall flavor. The Pumpkin Almond Bowl contains a blend of pumpkin, banana, almond butter, pumpkin spices and housemade cashew milk and is topped with pumpkin granola, roasted pumpkin seeds, coconut flakes and strawberries. The menu item is available through Nov. 4. Nékter, which has more than 115 locations, is based in Santa Ana, Calif.
Pumpkin Walnut Crunch Gourmet Bagel; Pumpkin Muffin, topped with cream cheese frosting; and Pumpkin Pie Latte. The seasonal treats are available through Oct. 31. Einstein Bros. is based in Lakewood, Colo., and has more than 700 locations.
Among the coffee chain’s new fall offerings are the Pumpkin Latte and Pumpkin Chai Latte. The Pumpkin Latte is made with espresso, steamed milk, pumpkin pie flavor and baking spices. The Pumpkin Chai Latte is created with tea, sweet pumpkin, chai spices and baking spices. Both beverages are available through Nov. 1. Peet’s is based in Emeryville, Calif., and has 400 stores.
A fall-friendly dish on the family-dining operator’s menu is the Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast — two eggs cooked any style, a chicken sausage patty and one spiced Pumpkin Pancake. The breakfast item is available until Nov. 4. Bradenton, Fla.-based First Watch has more than 270 restaurants.
The coffee chain’s new fall lineup includes a Pumpkin Spice Latte, a Pumpkin Spice Chiller, an icy version of the pumpkin spice latte, and pumpkin pie-flavored whole coffee beans. Gloria Jean’s is based in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., and has nearly 900 stores worldwide.
