Captain D's has appointed Brad Clark as chief supply chain officer, the company said Monday.
The Nashville, Tenn.-based quick-service seafood brand said Clark, who most recently served as P.F. Chang’s China Bistro vice president of supply chain, food safety and quality assurance, succeeded Janet Duckham, who retired in February.
Clark, left, will be responsible for leading Captain D’s purchasing, food safety and quality assurance team, the company said.
"Brad's track record of sourcing and providing high-quality products, while aligning with restaurant profitability goals, is a key element of our strategic roadmap for further growth," said Phil Greifeld, Captain D’s CEO and president, in a statement.
Clark was with P.F. Chang's for seven years. He began and spent 21 years of his supply chain career working with the Unified Foodservice Purchasing Co-op, the purchasing cooperative for Yum! Brands.
"With the appeal for sustainable seafood among consumers on an upward trajectory, the growth potential for the brand makes it an exciting time to be joining the Captain D's executive team," Clark said.
Captain D's, founded in 1969, has more than 530 restaurants in 22 states.
