Pumpkin spice is in the Proliferation stage – it’s considered to be a specialty offering that can be found on mostly fast-casual restaurant menus.

At the Twisted Rooster in Belleville, Mich., the menu features a pumpkin spiced sweet potato hash, which accompanies a Parmesan-panko crusted Lake Superior whitefish, along with seasonal vegetables.
