In March 2023, IHOP reimagined its menu to deliver on the best breakfast offerings, new burgers and the return of fan favorites like the Cinn-A-Stack pancakes. The launch of our core menu was driven by guest research, identifying our guests’ preferences. Every decision we make is driven by research rooted in guests’ feedback and needs. The menu continues to evolve as our guests evolve creating something for everyone to enjoy.
Our first-ever loyalty program, the International Bank of Pancakes, launched in April 2022 and only continues to grow-with more than eight million members — it’s a focus for us to create an experience for our guests to keep them coming back again and again. The program launched with an award-winning digital experience for guests; guests can better customize to their tastes and preferences either in our restaurants or on-the-go. The innovations and enhancement of these programs will continue to be a focus in 2024.
With all these initiatives, IHOP is seeking experienced restaurant operators and developers interested in helping the brand grow. The opportunity offers a range of development incentives* for new and existing franchisees and strategic growth plans for traditional and non-traditional development.

We offer a variety of development options, including traditional IHOP, full-service sit-down dining restaurants, a travel center model, and also a smaller expression, counter-service model for non-traditional venues such as airports and college campuses. This smaller expression allows for guests to be served on the go, builds brand awareness, broadens brand reach, in unexpected ways, bringing more guests to IHOP.
