Shake Shack has launched a three-item merch collection for the summer now available for pre-order on its shopping web site.
The new lineup includes a $55 tote with the words “Crinkle Cuts” on it, reflecting the style of the fast-casual chain’s fries. It’s a 20-inch wide and 16-inch high thick cotton canvas bag with a small interior pocket embroidered with the words “For Your Fries Only.” It has 25-inch canvas handles.
Also available is a $45 T-shirt designed by artist Spencer Gabor, who, like Shake Shack, is based in New York City. The 100% cotton shirt has “Shake Shack” printed on the front with a screen-printed graphic on the back.
And finally the chain of some 530 locations worldwide is selling a $38 Nalgene water bottle with a pack of four stickers to decorate it. The 32-ounce wide-mouth bottle is made from 50% waste plastic, is dishwasher safe, and free of Bisphenol A (BPA), which has been linked to a variety of health issues.
These limited-time items join Shake Shack’s existing clothing line, launched last November, of T-shirts, hoodies, sweats, hats, and a baby onesie.
This merch drop follows last summer’s very limited offering, at just 10 locations nationwide for two days, of a picnic basket filled with a variety of vegetarian items along with a blanket, sunscreen, frisbee, playing cards, Bluetooth speaker, bamboo dishware and utensils, and custom cloth napkins.
This summer is seeing a wide range of merch from limited-service chains, including Arby’s, Sonic Drive-In, and Dunkin, all owned by Atlanta-based Inspire Brands, and KFC, which is part of Yum Brands.
