27 restaurant executives on the move in September, including at Wendy’s, Papa Johns, and Starbucks

It was another busy month in the industry

September was another busy month in the restaurant industry’s C-suites. While there weren’t quite 8 new CEOs, there were five changes to that role, including a retirement at Whataburger and restructuring in Starbucks’ North America and China divisions.

There were a lot of new presidents last month, including at BJ’s Restaurants, Ford’s Garage, Via 313, 7 Brew, IHOP, and Arby’s. Wendy’s saw some shakeups, including a new chairman of its board, a new chief legal officer, and a new senior vice president of operations. And in addition to its new president, Arby’s also has a new chief marketing officer.

Other changes were made at First Watch, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Papa Johns, Noodles & Company, Smalls Sliders, Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, Mo’Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food, Artistry Restaurants, and Bloomin’ Brands.
