McDonald’s Chicken Big Mac, Starbucks-NLRB, Subway struggles

The Chicken Big Mac is coming to the U.S. McDonald’s said Thursday that it will bring the poultrified version of the Big Mac to its domestic restaurants next week for a limited time. The product is expected to be one of the biggest limited-time offers the chain has had in years.

Ex-Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz is in trouble with the NLRB. This week, the Labor Board confirmed an earlier ruling that Schultz telling an employee, “if you’re not happy at Starbucks, you can go work for another company,” qualified as an implicit threat.

Some Subway locations in Atlanta had to close over a lack of product this week. An uncertain number of the chain’s restaurants temporarily closed as a distributor the company works with failed to make deliveries over the past couple of weeks, the company confirmed to Restaurant Business.
