KFC’s new concept, Grubhub-FTC, Boston Market-India

KFC is opening an entirely new concept this week, called Saucy. The restaurant features chicken tenders, as well as 11 different sauces, and 11 beverages — a nod to the brand’s Original Recipe with 11 herbs and spices.

Grubhub will pay $25 million to settle a lawsuit brought by the FTC. The agency accused the delivery company of a number of deceptive practices, including hiding some delivery fees from customers until they were just about to pay.

Boston Market may be shrinking in the U.S., but the brand’s owner appears to be opening locations in India. Boston Chicken India apparently opened its doors in Delhi last month, according to various social media posts.

Starbucks Workers United announced that 98% of unionized baristas have voted to authorize a strike if necessary ahead of the union’s final bargaining talks with Starbucks of 2024.
