A fun vibe, diverse menu and locally inspired drinks have all contributed to the success of 16-unit Eureka!, which serves 20 signature burgers, as well as craft cocktails, tacos and more.

VertsKebap was founded in 2011 by two German students, Michael Heyne and Dominik Stein, who were studying at the University of Texas at Austin and longed for doner kebabs, a Turkish specialty of roasted meat thinly sliced from a vertical rotisserie, that is popular in Germany.

The “Vert” in VertsKebap refers both to the vertical position of the rotisserie on which the meat is grilled and the way the sandwiches are intended to be held.

VertsKebap’s menu, like many burgeoning chains, leans toward the healthful side, with most items under 550 calories.
