This rendering of the Taco Bell Cantina in San Francisco shows the new urban design, which lacks the traditional drive thru. The San Francisco unit is scheduled to open later this month.
The first Taco Bell Cantina in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood is scheduled to open on Sept. 22.
Dubbed Taco Bell Cantina, the new concept aims at redefining the urban fast food experience with alcohol, shared appetizers and a more localized restaurant design.
The Wicker Park unit features a mural by local artist Revise CMW.
The new concept targets Millennials where they live, work and play: in urban neighborhoods.
