Fogo de Chão’s new unit offers an expanded bar and patio that feature the brand’s Bar Fogo menu offerings, with Brazilian Bites, craft cocktails and South American wines.
Fogo de Chão still offers gaucho-cut, churrascaria menu offerings, in addition to smaller plates.
Among the new Bar Fogo items are Braised Beef Rib Sliders, which feature Brazilian Xingu beer-braised beef that is topped with caramelized onions and smoked provolone on a brioche bun.
The new restaurant offers table seating in the bar area as a more informal space from the main dining room.
Among new craft cocktails on the Bar Fogo menu are the bourbon-based Brazilian Gentleman and the vodka-based Brazilian Nights drinks.
The new Fogo de Chão occupies the first floor of a new midrise development in Dallas, and offers a patio open to McKinney Avenue and the trolley.
The bar area is located to the front of the dining room, but is open to the main seating area.
Among Fogo de Chão’s new small plates are Brazilian Empanadas, which include seasoned picanha and onions in pastry, and are served with chimichurri aioli for dipping.
Bar Fogo is expected to increase lunch and shoulder-daypart business, executives said.
