Restaurants Rise sessions with industry leaders examine changed operating landscape

Industry executives gather virtually for four-day deep-dive on issues, from the latest data to the importance of culture

Restaurants Rise, last week’s four-day digital summit, offered a wide range of solutions and data to help operators navigate the uncharted landscape as coronavirus restrictions ebb across the nation.

More than 7,500 registered for sessions at Restaurants Rise, sponsored by Nation’s Restaurant News and Restaurant Hospitality. Replays of the webinars are available for on-demand viewing at the website.

Along with the keynote sessions that included executives Charlie Morrison, CEO of Wingstop Inc., Kelli Valade, CEO and president of Black Box Intelligence, and others, the series of deep-dive sessions addressed issues ranging from changes in menus to contactless ordering.

Leaders from title sponsors of the event, DoorDash, The National Pork Board, and True Aussie Beef & Lamb, shared best practices around off-premise strategies, new research on consumer eating habits and menu versatility.
