2016 Restaurant Neighbor Award Winner, Humanitarian of the Year: Harald Herrmann

Harald Herrmann opened the flagship Yard House in 1996, years after he launched his restaurant industry career as a part-time dishwasher during high school. Formerly president of Darden's Specialty Restaurant Group, Herrmann vacated the position in March, and will serve as senior vice president of special projects until leaving the company in August.
