BOSTON Chef Patricia Yeo, who gained acclaim in the early 2000s for her New York restaurant AZ, has moved to Boston, where she is working for restaurateurs Mark Raab and Hemant Chowdhry as executive chef of Ginger Park Kitchen + Bar in that city’s South End.
Opened in the space that was formerly banQ restaurant, Ginger Park features “casually sophisticated” Asian street food, according to a company statement. The restaurant's menu features shareable plates ranging from $7 to $19.
Yeo, who wrote the cookbook “Cooking from A to Z,” was chef-owner of Pazo after AZ and then executive chef of Sapa and Monkey Bar, all in New York. Most recently, she has been traveling in Asia and learning to cook from street vendors in Thailand, Malaysia and China.
