Atlanta-based quick-service restaurant Chick-fil-A released photos of its long-planned mobile pickup store in New York City today. This is the first of two new concepts the chain is launching this year, the second of which will be an elevated drive-thru concept.
Chick-fil-A’s new mobile pickup store at 79th Street and 2nd Avenue on New York City’s Upper East Side will cater to customers looking for a quick experience by focusing on delivery and mobile app orders only.
“At Chick-fil-A, we are always looking for ways to innovate and enhance the guest experience,” said Nathaniel Cates, Sr., principal design lead for Chick-fil-A, Inc., in a statement. “While digital concepts are becoming more prevalent, it’s important that we evolve in a uniquely Chick-fil-A way — meeting the changing needs of our customers without compromising the signature service and care they’ve grown to know and love.”
Orders at this location must be placed through the mobile app or Chick-fil-A’s website for either pickup or delivery.
