Cracker Barrel Old Country Store announced the appointment of Sarah Moore to the role of chief marketing officer. Moore joins the company from MGM Resorts, where she was senior vice president of marketing. In that role, she led initiatives for resorts including the Bellagio, ARIA, and MGM. Moore was with that company for 16 years and has been in hospitality for nearly 20.

FAT Brands named Jordan Chirico executive vice president and head of debt capital markets. Chirico will be tasked with overseeing the Fazoli’s and Twin Peaks parent company’s balance sheet. Before joining FAT Brands, Chirico was a portfolio manager at 352 Capital, and has experience in managing portfolios and finances at Brigade Capital Management, Bair, Credit Suisse, and Bank of America.

Joey Simons joined fine-dining Greek seafood concept Estiatorio Milos as its first CEO. Most recently he was CEO of Montclair Hospitality group, which operates Japanese and Italian restaurants in New York and New Jersey, including trendy Wafu Italian concept PastaRamen. Prior to that role, Simons was chief operating officer and chief of staff for Los Angeles-based multi-concept restaurant and club operator SBE.

Hard Rock International named Eric Martino as the new president of its Hard Rock Cafe division. In this role, he will oversee operations of the company’s nearly 200 cafes around the world, as well as Hard Rock’s retail division. Martino previously served as president of MINA Group, Michael Mina’s restaurant management company, where he led marketing, culinary, operations, and beverage teams for over 30 restaurant concepts.

Puttshack promoted Logan Powell from chief financial officer to CEO. Powell had served as global president and CFO of the Chicago-based mini golf eatertainment brand since 2019 and succeeds Joe Vrankin, who was the company’s CEO in the U.K. and brought the concept overseas to the U.S. in 2021. Since joining the company, Powell has helped spearhead the growth of the brand, which now has 14 U.S. locations.

Mountain West Brands appointed Neil Harfert as its new CEO. Harfert will lead the company which includes three restaurants in Utah: Market Street Grill, Chuck-A-Rama, and Grub Steak. He has held several leadership positions at brands including MOD Pizza, Qdoba, and Rock Bottom Restaurants. Most recently, he was president of R&R BBQ before leaving to help his wife with her start-up ice cream wholesale business, Roonies Ice Cream. Harfert’s leadership will focus on strategic growth initiatives, operational excellence, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

GoTo Foods named Donna Spangler-Josephson as the new chief brand officer for its Schlotzsky’s brand. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing marketing and operations strategies with a goal of driving financial growth and franchise success. Spangler-Josephson recently served as chief marketing officer for Shipley Do-Nuts, and previously held the CMO role at Fazoli’s and Corner Bakery Cafe. She’s also held leadership roles at Wendy’s, Applebee’s, and Chick-fil-A. With her new role, she returns to GoTo Foods, where she previously served as vice president of marketing for the company’s McAlister’s brand from 2012 to 2016.

Starbucks named Ricardo Arias-Nath president of its Latin America and Caribbean system, which includes more than 1,600 locations in 23 markets. He previously served as PepsiCo’s chief strategy and transformation officer and succeeds Tom Ferguson, who has held the role since August 2022. Arias-Nath has more than 25 years of experience in general management, strategy, marketing, and business transformation.

Erin Chamberlin was named chief operating officer at Topgolf, joining the company from Penn Entertainment, where she served as senior vice president of regional operations since 2019. At Topgolf, Chamberlin is responsible for the venue experience, technology, food and beverage innovation, supply chain, and culinary operations.
