In fall 2016, Arby’s placed the Smoke Mountain on its menu. The sandwich includes brisket, smoked turkey and sous vide pork belly. The limited-time offer was available through October. 

Using brunch in New York City as inspiration, the chain introduced a breakfast brisket sandwich during early 2016. The menu item consists of an everything bagel with the slow-cooked meat, an egg, Muenster cheese, pickled onions and horseradish sauce.

This chain rolled out a brisket hash available for breakfast, brunch and lunch as a summertime special. First Watch’s hearty dish featured smoked brisket with seasoned potatoes, kale and roasted onions topped with two eggs, maple barbecue sauce and herbs. 

Qdoba offered the Outlaw Taco — introduced in October — made of brisket, ancho chile barbecue sauce, habanero salsa, corn salsa, cilantro and cotija cheese in a corn tortilla. The chain also made brisket available in other offerings during that month, and rolled the meat out as a permanent addition in January. 

Last summer, Schlotzsky’s offered a new line of mac & cheese with brisket — called the Brisketeer Mac. 

The chain introduced brisket tacos, which consists of the slow-cooked beef with roasted poblano peppers and zucchini in a dairy- and gluten-free “tortilla” made of cassava and coconut. The paleo-friendly menu item is also topped with chipotle salsa or a dairy-free “sour cream” made from cashews.

Snap Kitchen also introduced a brisket hash with peppers, onions, red cabbage and sweet potatoes.

Sonny’s BBQ smokes its own brisket and incorporates it into the menu in various ways. 

The chain offers brisket mac & cheese.

Sonny’s also has a chopped brisket sandwich on the menu. The chain sells about three million pounds of the smoked meat each year.
