Chester’s, based in Birmingham, Ala., which franchises to supermarkets and convenience stores, offered Honey Stung Chicken in August and September, made with fried chicken tenders coated in Frank’s RedHot Stingin’ Honey Garlic Sauce.

KFC began testing Hot Honey Chicken at select locations in Norfolk, Va., and New York State last November. It’s the chain’s Extra Crispy fried chicken — tenders, Chicken Little sandwiches or bone-in chicken — in a sauce made with honey and mild peppers. The Louisville, Ky.-based chain’s chief marketing officer, Andrea Zahumensky, told NRN last month, “consumers seemed to really enjoy that flavor.”

Austin, Texas-based Mama Fu’s Asian House is offering Honey Sriracha skewers at is 28 locations through March. They’re made with chicken thighs glazed with honey Sriracha sauce and are served with pickled vegetables and rice.

Bruegger’s Bagels, based in Dallas is promoting Sriracha Honey Cream Cheese at its more than 220 locations through early May. It’s cream cheese mixed with clover honey and Sriracha sauce, available by the tub or on one of two sandwiches: The Sriracha Honey Sunrise, with a seasoned egg, peppered bacon, cheddar cheese and the limited-time cream cheese on a toasted Everything bagel; or the Sweet Heat Turkey Sandwich with roasted turkey, cheddar, bell peppers, Sriracha sauce and the Sriracha Honey Cream Cheese on butter-toasted marbled rye.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, based in Fort Worth, Texas, has Shrimp Dippers at its more than 140 locations until March 11. That’s fried shrimp with two hot-sweet sauces: Mango-habanero and honey-chipotle

Dairy Queen, based in Edina, Minn., has introduced a Honey Hot Glazed Chicken Strip Basket at its more than 4,400 locations. It’s battered and fried chicken tenders tossed in a glaze made of honey and Frank’s RedHot sauce, served with Texas toast, fries, ranch dipping sauce and a wet napkin.
