Technomic Ignite’s Top 500 list won’t officially be released until the spring, but the company has some early predictions on what we can expect in 2025 based on fourth quarter data. Chipotle is expected to leapfrog both Burger King and Subway on that list for the No. 7 spot in sales. This movement is despite Chipotle having a significantly smaller unit count.

Chipotle said it has raised menu prices 2%, to offset rising costs, including beef, dairy and avocados. It is the first time the chain has taken pricing in over a year, officials said, except in California, where menu prices were increased about 7% earlier this year to help counter higher labor costs from the fast food minimum wage increase in April.

The snack wrap is coming back. McDonald’s said on Thursday that it plans to bring back the Snack Wrap sometime in 2025, though it won’t exactly say when for competitive reasons.
