TIPTON, Ind. Three Dairy Queen restaurants owned by franchisee J.D. Restaurants Inc. have launched a mobile-marketing campaign that could be a model for the rest of the quick-service chain, according to a media report.
Under the pilot DQ Mobile Rewards program, customers can send a text message to a code that allows them to qualify for a free combo meal of a hamburger, French fries and beverage, according to www.promomagazine.com. Six coupons will be sent to consumers’ mobile devices during the two-month promotion, which was designed to increase traffic for lunch and afternoon snack breaks.
J.D. Restaurants is based here.
