Hardee's, the Carpinteria, Calif.-based burger chain, introduced strawberry-themed items for the summer.
Along with the popular of Strawberry Biscuit, a variation on the restaurant's Blueberry Biscuit, Hardee's also introduced the Strawberry Banana Smoothie Shake. The drink is made by blending vanilla ice cream, strawberry-banana puree and milk.
The "smoothie" aspect of the drink comes from the use of blended fruit to flavor the shake. The Strawberry Banana Smoothie shake will be available until mid-November and is priced at $2.99, varying by location.
