ATLANTA The 360-unit Pretzelmaker chain is offering a pumpkin spice pretzel for the fall, parent company NexCen Brands Inc. said Monday.
The new pretzel is topped with a crunchy pumpkin spice blend and drizzled with caramel sauce, which can also be served on the side. NexCen said the pumpkin spice pretzel took several months to develop and test at the company’s research and development facility in Atlanta.
“From an innovation perspective, autumn offers some of the most unique and complimentary flavors,” said Michael Curtis, head of NexCen’s research and development department. “Our team is constantly examining ways to bring fresh, seasonal tastes to our customers.”
The pumpkin spice pretzel joins Pretzelmaker's regular lineup of soft pretzels, including original, Parmesan, garlic, ranch and iced cinnamon swirl flavors.
NexCen is also parent to the Great American Cookies, MaggieMoo's Marble Slab Creamery concepts.
