SHARON Pa. Casual-dining chain Quaker Steak & Lube has appointed Dudley McMahon to the newly created position of vice president of culinary development and purchasing. He reports to company president and chief executive Ken Cole.
McMahon, who most recently was senior director of culinary development at Buffalo Wild Wings, has worked with Cole at Sizzler and Damon’s International, where Cole hired him to revamp the menus.
McMahon is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and was on the 1992 U.S. team that competed in the Culinary Olympics in Frankfurt, Germany.
Quaker Steak & Lube, a motor sports-themed chain, opened six units last year, bringing its total to 37.
