Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza names new execs

Brand taps John Reale to lead operations, Katie Knight to head marketing

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza has rounded out its executive team with new leaders for its operations and marketing divisions, the company said Tuesday.

The Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based concept, which has 67 company-owned locations in eight states, named John Reale as the new chief operating officer and Katie Knight as chief marketing officer.

Reale most recently spent four years as COO of Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen and previously was operations chief at Focus Brands.

Knight most recently was vice president of advertising and marketing at alcohol retailer Total Wine & More and previously served as CMO of Carrabba’s Italian Grill.

“John, Katie and Dean will help lead our brand to even greater heights in a competitive market,” Jones said in a statement, “and grow our reputation as the go-to place to enjoy an authentic coal-fired oven pizza, wings, pasta or salad sourced from the freshest, most authentic ingredients."
